RECIP COMPRESSOR OIL

Overview

MERCURY RECIP COMPRESSOR OIL is a high-performance air compressor oil specially designed to meet the stringent requirements of major compressor manufacturers. This oil is formulated with high quality base oils and carefully selected performance additives to provide excellent protection against oxidation degradation, rust & corrosion and foaming & entrained air. The low carbon forming tendency coupled with high FZG rating make MERCURY RECIP COMPRESSOR OIL suitable for both reciprocating and rotary air compressors.

Applications

MERCURY RECIP COMPRESSOR OIL is for use in reciprocating air compressors operating with a high discharge temperatures of up to 220ºC used in stationary and mobile applications, rotary screw and vane compressors, axial and centrifugal compressors, and can be used in circulating oil systems, plain and rolling element bearings, lightly loaded gear sets, general lubrication, etc. Recommended for use in compressors by Atlas Copco, ELGI, Kaesar, Chicago Pnumatic, Ingersoll Rand and many others.

Features & Benefits

MERCURY RECIP COMPRESSOR OIL has excellent thermo-oxidative stability and controls the formation of sludge & varnish on valves & piston crowns and improves oil life. Its low ash and carbon forming tendency ensures improved valve performance and reduced potential for fires and explosions in the discharge systems. Provides exceptional wear and rust protection resulting in reduced maintenance costs and longer equipment life. Its demulsibility characteristics helps reduce oil carryover and corrosion, maintains lubrication efficiency, reduces sludge formation and improves life of separators.

Overview

MERCURY VACUUM PUMP OILS are high quality, high boiling range, low vapor pressure oils specifically designed for use in vacuum pump applications. These fluids are mineral based petroleum fluids. They have excellent oxidation resistance and thermal stability as well as low moisture contents and low volatility to insure excellent performance characteristics in high vacuum pump applications.

Applications

MERCURY VACUUM PUMP OILS are recommended for the lubrication of vacuum pumps and are suitable for applications involving absolute pressures from 50 microns of mercury down to the highest vacuum level achieved by commercially available vacuum pumps. They are also suitable for use in pump rings and sealing glands.

Features & Benefits

MERCURY VACUUM PUMP OILS are low in volatility, offer good air release and prevent pump cavitation. In addition to promoting rapid water separation and resistance to emulsion formation, MERCURY VACUUM PUMP OILS provide very good lubrication and wear resistance at startup and during boundary lubrication regimes. Due to their oxidation and thermal stability, MERCURY VACUUM PUMP OILS promote long oil service life and a minimum of deposit formation.
