MERCURY ST ALL CUT (NEAT CUTTING OIL) is a product designed specifically for the deep hole drilling of aluminum and hard-to-machine steels and alloys. This oil is a light viscosity material containing excellent anti-weld additives. Light viscosity allows for excellent metal drop out rates when low turn-around filtering times are critical.
MERCURY ST ALL CUT is suitable for gun drilling, deep hole drilling, and gear cutting/shaving. Its excellent lubricity excels in honing, grinding, lapping, and broaching/tapping operations.

MERCURY METCUT (Cutting Oil) is a premium quality, general purpose soluble oil. It provides excellent rust protection, and emulsion stability. The result is a longer lasting material well suited for all general purpose machining, along with grinding, specialized quenching and water hydraulic applications.
MERCURY METCUT is recommended concentrations vary depending on the application. General Machining (5-10%), Grinding (2-4%), Specialized Quench (10%), Water Hydraulics (1-3%).

MERCURY QUENCH OILS The MERCURY QUENCH OILS 1001 is recommended for the conventional quenching of steels with low critical cooling rates and bath temperatures up to 190°F.
FAST QUENCH OILS
In those operations where metals require high critical cooling rates, MERCURY has incorporated a speed additive for fast quench capabilities. These are particularly useful for hardening lower cost (lower hardenability) steels. These oils impart optimal physical properties to steels that cannot be sufficiently hardened by conventional quench oils. The viscosity of these products is low, oil runoff is fast, and drag out losses and the load on parts washers are reduced. MERCURY QUENCH OILS 1021 is recommended for applications where it is important to maximize steel hardness while minimizing distortion. MERCURY QUENCH OILS 1032 contains an additive that allows baths to be operated up to 250°F, reducing the danger of distortion and stress cracks. MERCURY QUENCH OILS 1032 also prevents sludge and oxidation.
